This project proposes an architectural vision for the future of primary education. It speculates that intelligent and interactive learning computer systems gradually take over educational function from humans, resembling the present tendency of replacement of the traditional mediums with digital, but on greater, architectural scale. In this way, the school classroom of the future becomes a computerized unit, a “machine for studying.”

The project proposes to manufacture the new school classroom as any appliance - industrially. These classrooms become fully interactive educational units, and school buildings become simple containers for them. The classes are replaceable and upgradeable, providing for the technology aging, but on the other hand a school building, “container”, can be something more permanent and distinct architecturally from one another.
